We sarcastically say that Sardaron ke 12 baj gaye. But it is incorrect.
Sardars used to attach Mughal camps at midnight when Mughal soldiers used to go to sleep after having had their meals etc. After a few attacks when Sardars attacked Mughal soldieres started saying " LO SARDARON KE BAREH BAJ GAYE."
