I fully support induction of women in Armed Forces. I am so glad that now they have been taken as Fighter Pilots in Air Force. There are indications that they will also be inducted for combat role in Army and Navy. My only apprehension is what will they go through if, God forbid, they are taken as PoWs. This is based on knowing what our immediate neighbors are like. I am very scared how will they treat Lady PoWs.

true, thats a scary prospect.. but i think women who join have the will to brave anything.

A couple of years ago there was news about an American lady sgt taken prisoner by Taliban. On her release in exchange of prisoners, she had said that she was raped by 15 plus persons everyday and some did anal intercourse. Later on she refused to speak about her PoW time on government advice.I think our lady officers are not prepared for this ordeal.
