A number of
persons had expressed their disliking for Police Personnel. I always maintained
that in the performance of their duty they are likely to annoy some persons. My
thinking has undergone change yesterday. Why, here is the reason :-
We stay in DDA housing complex of multistorey buildings. We stay on ground floor. Owner of a flat couple of floors above is getting some work done. Workers had been throwing waste down. The garbage thus thrown caused filth and made walking difficult. When my wife saw workers going back, she told them not to do so. They told her that the owner is in the flat and she can talk to him. She went up. On ringing the bell the door was opened by a man just in pyjamas. He did not have decency to ask her to wait while he puts on top. She told him about garbage being thrown down. He waiving his hands in unwanted way, told her “ TU JAA, MEIN DELHI POLICE MEIN HOON”.
For your advice, please.
