It is beyond being sad at killing of press reporter as this shows what our society has come to. It was his duty to bring out maladies in the society.
I feel this case as well as other similar cases should be decided at all levels including Supreme Court and punishment carried out within ONE MONTH. In this case the punishment has to be death sentence.

Coming to your post - I seriously dont know as a country where we are headed. But we should do our bit wherever and whenever possible.
