Further to my post on this subject, I would like to add that apart from what I had stated, there will be need for women orderlies, washerwomen, women waitresses also. There will be need for more Lady Medical Officers posted there as well as women Medical Assistants including physiotherapists. Lady Psychologists also will be needed.

It is so nice to see young children below the age of 12 years taking part in competitive programmes on TV. But it is heart breaking to see some of them who do not make to next stage or do not get selected crying. I feel organizers of such shows should do something to mitigate their feeling of sorrow. I suggest they could be given big chocolate boxes or any such items to make them feel happy.

I welcome the decision of Government to allow girls to join NDA. Being ex-NDA, I agree with experts who say that a lot of infrastructure will be needed before this can be implemented.
To start with there will be need of Lady Officers being posted as Divisional Officers, Squadron Commanders, Battalion Commanders, Deputy Commandant if not Commandant as well as for outdoor activities like PT, Drill, Sports, Riding, Weapon Training, Sailing, Gliding etc etc. Mindset of male cadets will need to be tuned to the idea of having girls as co-cadets.
Not only Lady Officers, there is a need for women ORs also under Lady Officers to assist them and for outdoor activities as mentioned above.
I at the age of 76 am willing to oversee implementation of this decision.

It is extremely sad that a barely 4 years old girl playing in lawn outside her house was taken away by a Cheetah. What the news says is that area is close to forests. Thus I blame the parents of the girl to let her play alone outside the house without supervision.
